Paul Marsa

Infantry Marine who spent 13 months on the Main Line of Resistance (Front line) fighting the Chinese from 1952-1953 until the truce was signed. Wounded in the ‘53 spring Chinese offensive & returned to the fight at Forward Observation Post Dagmar on “The Jamestown Line”.

Seoul changes hands for the fourth time when UN forces once again liberate the South Korean capital. The city has been devastated by fighting, and its population has been reduced to a fraction of its prewar size.
