William “Bill” Guess

William “Bill” Guess proudly served his country during the Korean War.  He served with the 8th Army 32nd Engineer.  Upon returning home, he settled for a time in Indiana with his wife Inez.  Later they made their way to Franklin County, Tennessee and made their home.  Together, they raised seven wonderful children.  When speaking with Ms. Inez, she recalls so many wonderful memories of her husband and the life they shared.  Last year, she was sure to personally place a wreath on his grave when a Wreaths Across America event was held at the cemetery in which he rests.  She honors his duty and their life together to this day.

I feel privileged to place a wreath on his grave each Christmas with the Wreaths Across America program. We will do our best to always remember him.
